  • You can book your session by clicking the ‘Book a Session’ button on the top right of the page.

    The sauna is available for private group sessions or social sauna sessions. You can choose either option when you are booking a timeslot.

    Please note that we reserve the right to remove / change any time slots prior to releasing them on the website.

  • A social sauna session is 1 seat in a shared sauna with other members of the public.

  • A private sauna session is a private sauna with your group of up to 6 people for 30 mins and 8 people for a 1 hour private session.

  • To cancel or reschedule your booking, please email us on skelligsauna@gmail.com with your booking details and preferred option for refund or credit in the email subject line. We do not take cancellations via phone, SMS or social media. We require 5 days' (120 hrs) notice for full refund or full credit and 48 hrs notice for full credit only. We regret that we can't give a refund or credit if it's less than 24 hrs notice. We do not refund ‘no shows’. If closed due to Covid restrictions, a full refund or credit will be given at any time. In the event that we cancel a booking, you will be notified by email / mobile and refunded / credited. The Skellig Sauna operators reserve the right to refuse admission to intoxicated persons or for other reasons that may be deemed a health and safety risk. Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.

    Clients cannot split or share passes.

    Passes cannot be transferred to another client and must be used by the person specified at time of purchase.

    By purchasing your class package you agree to use all classes sold by the expiration date chosen at time of purchase. Class Passes cannot be extended and credits cannot be used once expired. All clients are asked to agree to Skellig Sauna's terms and conditions upon purchasing a service or product.

  • We advise you bring a towel, bathing wear for sauna and swim and drinking water to stay hydrated.

  • Please arrive 5 minutes before your time-slot to allow ample time for briefing.

    Arriving late will shorten the duration of your experience.

  • Due to the nature of the experience we do not currently have changing or shower facilities and we encourage you to embrace the wildness of the experience.

  • Due to limited space, we advise bringing minimal personal belongings with you. You will be able to leave your belongings in vehicle if you have one but belongings are not permitted in or around the sauna.

  • Up to 8 people for 60-minute sessions, and 6 people for 30-minute sessions. If you are pregnant or have any underlying health problems, please seek advice from your doctor before booking. Listen to your body, take lots of breaks, and keep hydrated.

    Anyone under the age of 16 will not be permitted to use the sauna.

    Remember to sign our waiver form before arriving for your session.

  • We do not provide private parking but there is public parking available at all locations.

    It is your responsibility to find parking and ensure you arrive on time for your session.

  • For an authentic Finnish experience, customers can manage the 'löyly' (the steam that rises from the sauna stove), allowing control of heat and intensity.

    Adding water over the rocks humidifies the session and is one of the best aspects of an authentic Finnish sauna. However, please remember not to dump water on the rocks; instead, drizzle water on with a ladle intermittently until the heat reaches an appropriate level.

    At all times, a trained member of staff will be nearby for any queries and support you may need managing the heat and the water on the rocks.
